 Post subject: estimating weight of diamonds

Something is wrong with the steps im using to complete my equations for estimating weights. Im happily zipping through my course and BAM! simple math strikes again. I plug in the numbers to the formulas and make the girdle adjustments according to the charts but its not adding up.
round brilliant- AGD x AGD x Depth x .0061 x WC% Did I forget to add something, or what? Had similar problems with Hearts. L x W x D x .0059 x WC%. I dont get it. According to the formula its simple math. What did I miss? I'm assuming its something in the WC% but what, its a chart.

Somewhere along the line I missed the part that said correction starts at slightly thick. Not medium thick. Why would there even be a correction % for medium thick if you don't use it. Oh well mystery solved.
