Thank you for expressing that, but I think I have a femine side when it comes to the natural beauty of a wonderful gemstone called tourmaline. I think my deflating of diamond for the common man, must come from years of hearing the trade's propaganda about diamond, when the world of tourmaline was relagated to the wastes of "semi-precious" almost costume jewelery. When I hear statements like. I know that Grace's earrings can not be genuine because they can NOT afford that big a diamond. I went to buy the ring and it just had to have at least a ONE carat stone in it. I wonder how much status is a mixed gender thing and if it can be purchased cheaply the traditional diamond industry is in trouble. No amount of attacking the deceptions of the "cultured" diamond industry is going to change the economic bottom line. Oh, I am sounding like a man again and that is probably for the best. And I didn't even get into how a display of top quality tourmaline would put most colored diamonds to shame.
