I am looking to buy a CVD tester. Locally I am getting a Presidium CVD tester. I want to know, how reliable this or these CVD testers are and how accurate they are? Mostly i will use loose solitaires for checking.

they are not reliable at all, for white series you can use a diamond type detector like SSEF Diamond Spotter http://www.ssef.ch/products/ssef-instru ... d-spotter/ that will separate typeI from typeII and type II needs further tests... also if you want to be more professional and invest higher you can use GemmoRaman http://www.gemmoraman.com/
