Hi Everybody,

Our inventory, 20 years of work, all savings, current and future income, gone past cameras and alarm systems.

How? Hack the owner's emails, find invoice from safe company with location, rent a safe there under false name and slowly figure out how to break in, for example through the roof-panels, move inventory into your own safe, repack and carry out.

In Europe there are no insurances for web-businesses, yet. We are bankrupt, company and private. As a single father, not an easy spot.

I thank for patronage, support and the many messages I received in the last weeks. Sorry, I couldn't answer them before our account closed down.

Good grief. This is the most horrible news. I am so sorry this occurred.
Have a little hope. Perhaps the culprits will feel emboldened enough to make a mistake which will lead to their capture.

I'm sure you are seasoned enough to know this already, but keep an eye on secondary market websites as well as facebook, pawnshops, etc.
Print an inventory of your lost items and distribute it to everyone you can think of including the police.
You gems have an eclectic nature which will set them apart from more common stones*.

I have actually recovered stolen items on more than one occasion by using these methods in the past.

Wishing you every lucky break.

*don't rule out an inside job.

Yikes! I'm truly sorry to hear that.

A dealer got robbed of their whole inventory in Tucson in 2019, and the police managed to recover a large part of the goods a year or so later.
I hope you will also get your stones back.

Are the company whom provided your security arrangements culpable?

So very sorry to hear about this Edward. All I can do is offer encouragement that there still is a good future in store for you. You still have your family, friends, and loved ones. That is the true wealth in life.

have hope. I used to work with the FBI on cases where gems and jewelry were stolen. The FBI was provided details descriptions of the stolen items. Based on information I would be sent in as a prospective buyer. The meetings were in places we could set up cameras and microphones to record the transaction. We recovered a great deal of stolen property this way, and took a good number of bad guys off the street. Work closely with the law enforcement people working your case. You may get lucky.

Best of luck going forward.

Stve
