now moving along, focusing on my next project.
I am looking for an original EMS for a seattle fac ette, mid 70' model,
first generation, from the first ones that originally came with the device
basically It have the strain gauges,(the connection not sure if that how its called)and the wire that goes with it,just missing the device...
If anyone here have that part I will be happy to buy it.

It looks like the Ultratech with the two platens is for sale on Ebay. Pictures look the same as you posted. Is it the same machine?

Also a complete Facette maintenance kit is currently listed on EbAy. Is that what you are looking for?

yes its the same machine.
the seller renew the ad,after we canceled.
regarding the fac ette, the machine is in working condition, this kit is more for the motor ,all the electronic related to it.
I just need the ems device to make it complete.
look like this in the picture, but I preferd a more older unit,I think the ones made in the same year of my machine was silver colord.
the one in the picture is from a newer model, but both will do ok,same device...

I am glad to see you have canceled the Ultratech. It looked to me that it would be a lot of trouble to get up and running properly.

The Facette is a great machine that has a reputation of being fast, and accurate. If I were ever to buy a machine other than Facetron it might be that one.

Speaking of machines, I am looking for some MDR machines new or used for a small factory in Tanzania. The cutters in this factory have been using MDR for decades, and want to stay with them if possible.

Anyone have a lead on this?

Steve, How far back is the limit on the MDR? MDR machines can date back aways. I had a early 80s machine I believe was a 300 pro C model, I sold to a lady in Temecula a few years ago. I still have my late 60s early 70s model I started faceting with. Built box with a fan motor attached, speed is buy moving the belt to the three different pulley sizes. Yes it is a prehistoric beast has a 64 and 96 index, takes standard 1/4 dops. If you interested let me know.
Greg

Greg,

This request is for a new factory being set up by in Arusha.

Email me what you have, and what you want and I will pass it on to him. I will be paying for, and collecting, for all the machines here and doing the shipping to Tanzania.
