I have had looking for a suitable lump of dark green, almost black Bowenite serpentine to make a tankard liner.
The material one finds in the west country ( England where I am located ) is pale brown not what I am after.
I assume the material I am after comes from Saxony ( germany ) or Austria it is a fairly un interesting colour and which is why I am having difficulty locating any material .
Amy ideas how to get hold of a lump to produce a tankard (pot ) liner approx 11 cm across and 13 high would be greatly apppreciated.
I am aware this is a more of a mineral than gemstone and hope the comunity here dont mind. Regards F

In the US that type of material is available (in sawn pieces) at suppliers for kitchen and bathroom countertops, or monuments/headstones.
