I put my DiaMatrix page up on my website:

Thanks for the compliments, everyone. Polishing this stone--in particular the table--was immensely helped by both the Diamatrix and the 100k Blakstick. Killer combination.

I propose a new color shade: DiaMatrix Gray.

PMS 442. "Elephantine"..?
It's big. It's grey. It has an attitude. :smt105

Also fits the previous quote. Longer and harder (than the competition). ;)

I just polished the pavilion on a very large rhodolite nodule with the Diamatrix. Now that its charged up with 100K Blakstick from polishing the topaz, I needed to add very little. In fact, I polished the first two tiers of the pavilion before I added any diamond at all. Very fast on the rhodolite. I'm definitely going to be using the Diamatrix for all of my diamond polishing going forward--like Tom, the regular matrix is going to be relegated to oxides (which it really excels with).

That is great confirmation. Thanks!

The Matrix required "Fast and light pressure" or other individual adjustments to get flat facets.
GO is an educational forum, and it can educate manufacturers, too, if they have the sense to listen.
Tom had a light bulb go off, and we went through a few adjustments and testing to grow the Diamatrix.
I look forward to more moissanite experiences this week, and hope to hear about crysoberyl, spinel, and CZ.

Before Christmas, I polished a matching pair of 9 main round brilliant Spessartites on a DiaMatrix prototype. I was amazed how little BlakStik I needed and quite please with the facet flatness and sharp meets.

I just finished the pavilion on a blue synthetic spinel using the Diamatrix and Blakstick.

I love it. It is the best polish and the flattest facets I have ever cut on a stone. Took a bit of adjusting the speed and how damp to keep it, but once I got the right combination it polished really fast. I used a spray bottle to dampen the lap as needed.

It was a big plus, not having to wipe oil off to check the polish.

Will post more when I get around to finishing the crown. So far, very happy with the Diamatrix. Awesome lap.

Today we got feedback from the commercial cutting operation. No good-sized business wants their competitors to have a clue as to what they are using, so these clients are all handled confidentially.

But I sure wish it were not the case this time.

Reports "40% faster than MATRIX". "Fast flat facets". It was a very happy email...And there's NOTHING I can do about it! :smt089
