I read some where on a website that the tigers eye gemstone has a form of asbestos in its original formation. After all said and done, does the polished and finished product (meaning ready to sell in the stores) contain any of the asbestos? Just curious on that.

Welcome to the forum, RockClimber. Given that tigers eye is a pseudomorph of asbestos, you would expect that there would be small amounts of asbestos left in the material. However, the main danger of asbestos comes from the large amounts of fibrous dust it can create, and long term exposure to said dust.
I wouldn't rub your eyes while cutting it, but the material is fairly stable and and the polishing process tends to make it hard to lift a fiber from the stone in the more friable cases.
