I've decided to sell my Ultratec faceting machine. It's a V2 and is nice and tight and not used a lot. I had grandiose ideas, but lacked the room to set up. Besides that... aging memory causes me to make too many mistakes  I'm selling it for $750 plus shipping (US only)

I would like to buy your Ultra-Tech V2 faceting machine. I am teaching my 15 yr old daughter how to facet and she needs her own machine in order to practice. I live in Southern California and would gladly pay $750 + shipping. Thanks.

Please email me at atipinc at gmail.com (replace at with @).

Hi, If at all possible, financially, keep it. The value will not decrease much if any. It is excellent for making the brain exercise. Don't get frustrated, just pick an easy design and leave it on the quill as long as you want. If the meets are off, few scratches still there, Damn cheater doesn't cheat well, etc. Just remember that you have exercised your brain and for an extra week in your life ( may it be long) it will be better than it would watching TV.
The Crazy 8 design is one of the easiest designs and the angles are large enough for us older individuals. Judge yourself not by others evaluations of quality, but by your maintenance of good brain function. If you are in need to sell, I would also be interested for my older son who is interested and perhaps getting tired of waiting for me to hit the splash pan :) ~ He really is the best son a person could have~. So put me on a list which will probably grow larger. I am in southern Ca. also. Best luck and wishes and Happy Holidays.
Jim

Thanks to all who showed an interest in my Ultratec. I have sold it to Randy on this forum.
