Completely hypothetical, but same goes for any little part on the machine, what happens when there's no replacements but the machine is only a few years old? that was my train of thought anyways.

That could be said of any faceting machine manufacturer. You will learn. Just wait.

As Thomas mentions,, there is not much on a faceting machine that cannot be either sourced or made.
I have a machine custom built to suit my needs, motor and controller easily sourced, base milled and drilled, platen assembly turned to very close tolerances, splash pan and drip tank are simple.

The only thing I would be stumped on would be the digital faceting head, but even this is possible.

The specs are either on a label on the item you wish to make/replace, or easily measured with the correct instruments.

Quite possible. For example, see the explicit description in Chapter 20 of Tom Herbst's "Amateur Gemstone Faceting".
