http://www.gearloose.com/graves.html Maybe 20 years ago. All the components are long obsolete.

Take the path of least resistance. Buy the 5xl digital head and mast.

That way you solve a lot of problems, the mast and head are very robust and eliminate a lot of flex issues as well as being simple and user friendly.

The problem, as discussed in other threads, is that a number of people have paid for faceting machines from Graves that were not delivered in a time frame that is expected in the trade or promised by Graves.

Yes Thomas, that does seem to be the current trend.

I have not ordered from them for a few years now. When I did I always phoned them and I spoke to a very helpful lady, Vicky was her name if I remember correctly. one order was particularly tricky as I was doing a project in Uganda at the time, we stayed in contact and I received every thing in good time, it was waiting for me when I got back to South Africa.

After that I did a smaller order, Peter was in Tucson at the time but he did reply to me on the status of the order.

It seems things have changed since then.

If placing an order I always called, just relying on the online shopping never produced results, so a bit of prompting seemed to help. Not sure If that is an option now.

I understand the frustration people are dealing with now.It also makes no sense to have a dysfunctional online shop.
