I was looking at this design and wondering what was intended with P5. There is no instruction as to how to place it and no dimension on it, it can just float. However if you don't put it where the computer has put it, the ratios on the stone will not be right... You guys who do designs, any advice?

Given that Kim's other RBs have it, and the way P5 doesn't return light when tilted, it should be safe to say it is also for using up depth in the rough that would otherwise be cut away.
I'ld still try to get it close to the diagram by eye if you want the dark border, but the dimensions won't be as critical as say, a low-RI Asscher cut.

Yes it is a good way to save weight. I have always called this type of row a "False Girdle". Looks much better than the very thick girdles I often see, and saves almost as much weight. You can cut it even a higher angle than the 55 degrees in the diagram without change the pattern.

This design comes together nicely, good use of step would also be to aid in crown positioning for inclusions, although it's still largely a guessing game to me. All manner of inclusions in this stone, and no that is not a scratch on top rather but a very straight needle of something under the surface! Only a very few imperfections breached, and they are not visible with naked eye at least... anyway I kinda like a nice garden...
