Good job. In the future, you may want to add a summary of the link content, like in this case, "Cutting an Emerald from rough to finished stone".

You are right Thomas, that was a very lame post. That was a 70ct. unoiled Ethiopian crystal that cut a 10ct. finished gem. It was done by master cutter, author and photographer Vlad Yavorskyy. He said it took 5 recuts before he was happy with the results. Somehow I ended up on his mailing list and I get frequent offers from his N.Y. shop. He is the author of the Terra gem book series including 2010's Terra Spinel written with Richard Hughes. Some of his photos are featured in Richard Wise's Secrets of the Gem Trade.
