I plan to buy a Diamond Pacific Genie in the next time. So I would like to know if you also have to change the bearings after a while like at the DP Pixie.
Thank you in advance,

Greetings,
Olaf

The short answer is Yes. But it depends on the age and use of the machine. I've owned a Genie I bought lightly used in 1989 and have cut well over 3000 stones with it. I've renewed the bearings once in that 30-year time period. Any rotating mechanism will eventually need new bearings but the Genie is exceptionally well built with quality materials.
