I've been trying to facet again; after 3 awful stones I finally did this one. I'm still having problems getting a good polish, but it's not too bad.

The diagram of the stone is on Jeff Rhonemus' Facebook page; you can also see what it should look like. As it is shifted side to side or top to bottom, you get really cool patterns. I thought his was so pretty I wanted one, too. This is a 6.1 ct citrine; I didn't notice the zoning until I was polishing it, but it doesn't distract too much.
