Hi Is it Ok to use diamatrix with cerium oxide without water drip? Or should I use very slow water drip so that it doesn't get heated. Polishing quartz.

I only have a Matrix but I use that with the Sticks from Gearloose and a mixture of methylated spirit (30 %) and water in a spray bottle. That keeps the lap damp. Might work on the Diamatrix too.

Thanks Actually i have a dominatrix . Diamatrix inside with batt outside. Pre polishing with cerium on diamatrix and polishing with 50000 batt gives excellent result on quartz. Saves time aswell as both polishing is done simultaneously. There is just the contamination issue. Have to wash lap regularly.
