No I have not purchased the book. For me, it looks like a very well produced book, but maybe nicer quality printing than I would require. If I saw some nice looking stones that other had done from designs in the book then I may consider it. I still think the most efficient way to sell designs is by either PDF files or even better files that can be opened by either GemCAD or GemCutStudio. I find I am always tweaking designs, so to have them in a digital format is a big plus. Maybe some of the other members year have cut some.

There are no designs in this book that would not take more than 30-60minutes to enter in into cad software to tweak. If that is your inclination to do so. Most all designs are some sort of adaptation of a past design. Take for example the design in this book "French Cut" a classic right? Do you want to see it cut? The spiral bound book is what it is, the paper is coated so I do not see an issue with staining. Your one that has been around for awhile in the industry, been to many of the industry gem hubs and shows, probably seen millions of stones cut in the fashion that some of these designs are trying imitate.
