Rej,
I have a full desktop (big monitors, digital microscope, Etc.) at the faceting desk, and a laptop I use upstairs to browse, play, search forums, Etc. If there's no way two instances of the product can be used at the same time, is it possible to dual install the software so I can work on designs upstairs and then downstairs when cutting?

Ghays,
Thank you, having been a software developer, the last thing I'd ever want to do is violate a license/cheat a SW developer out of money. Thank you so much for this info and away I go to learning how to do gem design (and helping me with cutting sequences, still can't thank this group for their help with cutting that trillion I couldn't make it work until someone pointed out the obvious).
Thanks again

If you ever want a lesson on Gem Cut Studio designing, and how that relates to cutting the actual stone let me know. I have had good success teaching that over Zoom.

I'd take Steve up on his offer, he seems to have mastered the GCS based on some of the designs I have seen. I'm still a little more proficient with GemCad and use the software more for recalculating than designing. I do like GCS and it has some great features built in.
