With the exception of the Ludel book, I agree that the rest are very helpful and should be part of a diamond cutter's education.

Hello,

I know nothing about the subject. But I was curious to take a look at the books that you were talking about. So I went to the link about Watermeyer's book: " Diamond cutting" http://diamondcuttingbook.com/Book_Contents.html

I have the surprise to read him: " Finally, I wish to state that "Diamond Cutting" is the only book I have ever written on diamonds for the world of diamonds. I distance myself from any other booklet or book which might bear my name." on that link.

So he did not write the other book " The art of diamond cutting"???? But that book seems to be well known!

Just wanted to point that out. For my part, I say it again: I know nothing about diamond faceting.

And thus begins another story of who you can trust and who you can't trust in the diamond and gem industry. Ive purchased the other two but not the one in question. Thank You for bringing that to light.
