Something for those of you with "smarter-than-me" phones to be on the watch for:

IF YOU HAVE INSTALLED ANY FLASHLIGHT APP ON YOUR CELL PHONE, BE SURE YOU WATCH THIS VIDEO. IT IS UNBELIEVABLE. THIS IS NEWS THAT EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW. IT IS SCARY.

Thanks, Dr. Sue. The person who sent this to me is usually very good at checking things out first. I shall forward the link on.

And so far we've seen no reports documenting that any flashlight app is secretly funneling personal data to cybercriminals in foreign countries.

Of course you won't. The people who write malware are not stupid.
The missed point here is if it's out anywhere, it's out everywhere.
Years ago there was an issue with digital picture frames. The user would plug them into the USB port to load the pictures, and the computer was then infected.
At present, botnets account for more web traffic than individual users. These are then used in Distributed Denial Of Service attacks, and other hacks.
Locally a police station had to pay ransom in Bitcoin to have their documents unlocked. It's just going to keep getting worse.

My KEYCHAIN has a flashlight app.

It costs 50 cents, and has no malware.

It must have been about 11 years ago that I knew aliens from galazies far beyond were watching my every move from my cell phone, and taped the camera for good.

Only problem is satellite t.v. They can watch you through all kinds of reverse signal stuff, using your tv pixels as a camera.......................

So, if your only problem is a few global criminals stealing your identity, draining your lives savings, and committing crimes under your name making you a wanted fugitive in 3-4 countries.............

Consider your problems minimal.

Just kidding.

About the minimal problems part. Those are very serious problems.
