Ignatius The Great is EIGHT today! The Seafood Festival* will be outdoors today, as fine weather is forecast.
Tomorrow is the Great Leprechaun Hunt! He hunts imaginary things every day, so it is no different.

(You KNOW you are getting old when your CAT reaches Middle Age,)

*A can of Fancy Feast Cod, Sole, and Shrimp, decorated with cat treats with a sardine for a candle.

Happy Birthday Iggy!
You don't look a day over 5, honestly.

And all the best from Daisy, Rex, Buki and Beetlejuice.....

Doesn't act it, either. We had a fine warm day yesterday and took the first major patrol of the year. We must have walked a mile, exploring the "Jungle" out back, merrily dragging me through brambles and fallen tree limbs. We sat on a downed tree in a sunny spot awaiting game, which never appeared. We headed back to the "Savanna", stopping by Head Rub Rock, a large boulder he climbs so we can rub heads. He glared and growled at the new family's house, wherein dwells a CAT.
Then he ate, and slept till late afternoon. We took another walk, whereupon he cornered some creature that had caused a rustling sound. The leprechaun escaped unharmed. Or whatever it was.
