Navette. A gem cut shape from the French, synonymous with what is generally known as the Marquise cut. It means "little boat."

Since we're doing facet cuts:

Taille en seize, the French term for single-cut diamonds. Sixteen facets, per illustration.

Allotrope.

One of the forms assumed by an allotropic substance; as diamond is an allotrope of carbon.

Well "z" isn't one of the last two letters but I'll give it a try.

Zeberged: the island in the Red Sea where peridot, the gem grade of olivine, was first discovered. Also known as St. John's Island, Seberget and Zeberget.

Agreed. But "z" is pretty limited once you get past obvious ones like zoisite and zircon. But what the heck...

Aegerine. Use "g"

Aegirine is a member of the clinopyroxene group of inosilicates. Aegirine is the sodium endmember of the aegirine-augite series. Aegirine has the chemical formula NaFeSi2O6 in which the iron is present as Fe3+. The stone in the image is from Norway.
