I am wondering how you USA sellers out there ship your products Internationally? Using USPS to ship a gemstone(s) worth over $5 you need to use USPS Priority International to get insurance and the cost to, for example, Alberto Canada, with insurance and cert. of delivery(needed for PayPal payments) is roughly $15. How can this cost be lowered?

Also, shipping without insurance on packages valued above $10 is not an option, USPS is bad enough, but in our area it is 50/50 chance on package going missing, stolen, destroyed in transit when dealing with International shipments, been there done this far too many times. Also, fibbing on Documents is not an option either as that just is not going to happen, lol.

How do you ship, or is that price reasonable? The cheapest method is First Class + Cert. of Delivery, for $2.25, but, one can NOT purchase insurance on that because it is below Priority International.

Looked into Endicia, but paying another monthly charge of $10 just to mail an occasional International parcel is not an option either.

Any other solutions?

Thanks in advance!
