for the shape looks like quartz , but for color looks more like calcite

The color is consistant with water worn topaz and matches pieces of pebble rough I have. But the crystal does look a little quartz-ie.

It definitely looks like quartz to me. The hexagonal prism and the termination don't look very compatible with topaz symm.
But after all it's just a (reasonable) guess from a picture of a worn crystal... but I'd bet quartz against topaz 100:1 :)
