Creative setting by John Cogswell ISBN 978-1929565-22-1 doesn't seem to be mentioned in the Gemologyonline book list.
I beleive that it could be a nice addition.
It is clear, well illustrated, full of great tips and creative.
A great investment in my opinion.

Barbra,

Thank you for adding the Creative Setting book to the library.
I hope that others will find it as helpful as I did.

It's an excellent book; I own it and credit it with huge advances in the quality of my settings. One of the best jewelry technique books I own or have seen.

Well, I’m undecided regarding these books:

- “Creative stonesetting” by John Cogswell
- “Gemstone setting” by Anastasia Young
- “Stonesetting for Contemporary Jewelry Makers” by Melissa Hunt
- other

Actually I have one of those three, but will not say which one.

Here is my humble question: Is one (whichever) of them superior to the others in terms of information (text and visual), technical advice and creative ideas thus making buying one or two of the rest redundant or not?

Thank you in advance for the advice!
