I think there is a typo on #4. Should the max RI be 1.544 instead of 3.544?

If so I am going with:
#4 Quartz

So, to re-cap.
We have a winner.
1.Sphene
2. Andalusite
3. Axinite
4. Is actaully Smoky Quartyz; Too simple.
5. Tourmaline
6. Zircon

So, tell me, how long did it take you to ID these browns?

I know - I was trying to add some excitement  Do I get to keep the 6 stones?

It didn't take long at all - especially since I was playing solitaire.

If you want to delete my answers so that others can play - I wouldn't mind.

Darn it... I knew I should have been waiting home in front of the computer for quizzes! ;)

Oh well, Casino Royale was worth it... even the second time.
