The Headley-Whitney Museum is in Lexington KY and is dedicated to jewelry, gems and decorative objects. I was thrilled to be invited to participate in the "Cutting Edge II" this year. Given the list of "who's who" in the exhibit, I'm feeling very honoured indeed. It's a collection of amazing artists.

Here's the Exhibit rooms:

and here's my little offering:

So cool!!! These are close to my stomping grounds! Will definitely have to see it....we don't get much in the way of rocks around here....nice fluorite in Marion (5 hrs west of Lexington) and some KY agate in Irvine (1 hr form Lexington), but otherwise....we travel....

Even cooler that I met one of the artists! :D

DrSue - PLEASE let me know if you get there. We hoped to make the trip but it's a long way and we're just running out of time in between work.

Thank Barbara. It's seriously pretty. I got some bigger ones this past year, but that colour is the nicest I've had.
