I'm just one of those off the wall type individuals who never had a proper place to fit in (Only Round or Square Holes Available)...A contradiction in terms and habitual nonconformist who loves/lives for adventure which is sometimes life on the edge...Classic 1950 (Year of the "Iron Claw") who thinks he's still a young buck...Some say "Grow old gracefully" but I say fight it every inch of the way and preserve that freedom at all cost!!!

That's the social side...

Science/Nature is the only thing in life which has been desirable to conform to...Consistency and Repeatability that doesn't exist in that "Social World" at large...Truth...It won't lie to me but will scold me if I'm wrong and make me adhere to a proper path...If only life could be so simple!!!

I have found myself here in SE Asia most of the past 8 seasons while spending a few months home in the States...4 years in Thailand and 4 years in Cambodia...Now back to Thai where life is SOOOOOoooooo much easier...Chanthaburi is the Gem Center...Before returning I worked as Field Gemologist/Mining Engineer for a Ruby Mine in the Som Luat Distric of Batthambong Province just across the Thai border at Bo Rai/Bo Ploi but mass corruption and me just don't get along...It would have been so much easier just to work rather than "Scam" for $$$$'s!!!

Such is life!!...So now I'm off on my next adventure...Tanzania!!

But 1st I need some portable equipment for heat treating and cutting...Thus I'm attempting to design/build a portable Induction Furnace -w- Vacuum/Oxy Pressure Atmosphere Control...Need a Faceting Machine -w- Concave attachment...Portable Generator...All of which needs to be shipped to Tanga Tanzania where my friends Lambo and Gregory have an apartment...Hopefully by February or at least that's my goal...

Speaking about my friends in Tanga/Chanthaburi they have brought back some very nice Sapphire Rough...Big Size!!...And cutting it without heat...I have a 25 gram Greenish Yellow Umba Sapphire that I will have cut unheated...Very strange color for a sapphire...Only one side is clean enough so the rest will need to be heated later...Hoping to get a 15-20ct sapphire out of it???

Well that's the me that is and will always be as long as a breath still enters my body...
