RosGem Refractometer

I'm looking to possibly buy a pocket size RosGem Refractometer with a soft case that was a Demo model.
Does anyone have one or knows about them. I can buy this one maybe for $250.00, I dont know how old it is, but it was never used they say it was used as a Demo
Does anyone have any advice or input on the quality of the pocket
RosGem Refractometer /case. I don't know if this is a good deal for this or if I should wait and buy a different kind.
Any thoughts.
