If you'll search on ebay, you can find several cheap gemstone deals. Another alternative is a gem lending program offered by certain gemology courses online where you can borrow packages of gem after making a deposit. Your money will be refunded by the end of the course after you return all the gems. But of course you will be charged to pay for any stones that you lost.

pay a visit to Thailand. From fine gems to cheap rocks, glass-filled stones and fakes, you can get all of these at one trip. Silom, Bangkok is a good place to go, so do Kanchanaburi, MaeSai, and MaeSot. Have fun!

I usually source inclusion samples for labs and gemmology schools, if it is for learning purposes, I am happy to throw together a set of classic inclusion stones, depends on what you need and how quickly. If it is for a school or lab, it will be passed on at cost or free, if it is for personal use, there will be some small charge.
Hi to everybody! I think all of the main mineral and gem shows (Tucson, Munich, Idar-Oberstein, Ste.Marie, etc.) give you the possibility of purchasing particular gemstones, every kind you wish: unusual gemstones, with inclusions, natural, synthetic, treated, etc. In Idar-Oberstein and in Munich I found many kinds of cut stones and now I think I have a good collection of. Prices are also affordable for everybody, starting from some 10 or 20 € to higher prices. It's up to you!!! Greetings from Italy by Riccardo.
