What gemstones are we looking at here?

Second one is ruby / pink sapphire?

Hi there! The first is a blue sapphire and the second is a ruby.

I will say that, from the photos, we can definitely tell you that they are, without a doubt, either natural or synthetic. They may also be either treated or untreated.
(seriously, though, a single low-res photo alone is generally not enough to tell. More data are required. I'd recommend that you take a look through previous threads and spend a bit of time looking for distinctive features of synthetic sapphire and ruby to find out what sort additional information is needed).

Hi, no color banding nor curved striae are observe in the stones, I am just not very sure with the gust of bubbles on the blue sapphires, and under immersion, it reflect as patches of colors; it does look like color diffused internally due to heat treatment. For the ruby, it carries the features of ruby from Mong Hsu, wispy veils of fingerprints with irregular matter that suggest liquid and negative crystals, further there are also some black spots near the cutelet.

May I suggest you supply pictures that are in focus as well as a bit higher resolution. If not possible, just take the stones to a competent gemmologist.

The pictures are not good enough to tell.
