the US patent on moissanite expires in 2015 so that the monopoly and stranglehold that Charles n Colvard currently has in the states on price fixing and selling moissy will cease.
We'll be able to legally buy finished stones from other sources and hopefully rough as well.
Does anyone expect that prices will drop dramatically on finished stones and that sources of rough will be made locally in the states or do you guys think we'll need to get rough from non US sources?

The rough is already available in the US. I bought some chunks last year at Tucson, and the same vendors (Grannik and one other Russian vendor) said they would have more this year, and in better colors.
