Neat! It doesn't look like petosky stone to me, but it's definitely fossiliferous (and honestly, with composition like that I think it's a lot cooler)

Lol my husband said it's a petoskey stone.
I should have known it may be somthing else.
We were looking for petoskey stone.
It was found on sturgin bay.
I think it will make a cute necklace. :D

It might look like a crinoid stem section, but keep in mind that I've always sucked at paleo stuff... :lol:

That's probably a good guess, since there clearly are a few smaller crinoid stems in the rock.

I contracted Lyme disease.
It affects my brain! (Not lol)
It's hard for me to rember.
The actual rock is different
Crustation? is the same.
Way cool anyway.
