I was thinking maybe garnet. But you know we should not attempt to identify a gem by a photo ... so, does that include inclusions? .
Sphalerite... interesting!... I've never seen synthetic sphalerite, but it certanly exists, mentioned in many scientific articles for different tecnology applications and experiments. I'm wondering if decent size monocrystals suitable for cutting have ever been made?
