Yes, here they are, typical veils of pseudosecondary inclusions in this common analogue of natural mineral.
Guess, what material is it?

Good shot but not correct! :D
I'd say that the correct answer is even more easy!

You're a sphalerite man ... is that it?

I was thinking maybe garnet. But you know we should not attempt to identify a gem by a photo ... so, does that include inclusions? :P .

Third and final answer ... I do not dare to propose a Quartz :?: maybe Ametrine ...

... as Barbara, I thought first to Sphalerite , since this is "your" stone , but I have quickly eliminated this suppositiion .

Sphalerite... interesting!... I've never seen synthetic sphalerite, but it certanly exists, mentioned in many scientific articles for different tecnology applications and experiments. I'm wondering if decent size monocrystals suitable for cutting have ever been made?

But no, it's not sphalerite nor garnet! :D

I'm afraid a bit of "out the box" thinking is needed here!...

The inclusion scene is not dissimilar from this hydrothermal emerald posted by Paolo Cerruti here:

Yeah, I can see that too Alberto. We need to immerse the unknown in benzyl benzoate and rotate it.
Egor, can you send that out, please.
