In technical terms, it appears to be a "thingy" of some sort.

Or to put it another way, it's impossible to identify something like this from photos alone. It could be almost anything.

Perhaps a fossilized citrus wedge?

Glass will cut glass. Hardness testing should always be a last resort.
Singly, doubly refractive?
Refractive index?
Specific Gravity?

Find a local gemologist who can test it for you.

As I said on another thread:

It is impossible to identify an unknown without having it in front of you.
I suspect that the box you found is not part of a Japanese WWII treasure.

Clearly it was a personal treasure to someone and now it's yours.
I don't see a lot of intrinsic value in your find, but I hope the stones bring you some joy every time you look at them. :)

Sorry for being so rude, youaretheonejay. Could some local children be playing games, and burying small treasures?
Where I mine, visiting children often sprinkle blue aquarium gravel around the place, and also blue marbles.
When we go walking, it can get the heart racing, when the sun gives a glint of "gems", in the grass.
Barry.

thank you for the response, sir/ma'am. actually, it was in a cave when they found it. some treasure hunters said it was one of the japanese treasure's signage that there are more treasure surrounding it, in fact people around also found japanese gold bars. There are persons who are interested of buying it. The area is a very remote place and hard for a children or any ordinary individual to reach. thanks for your reply

? First it was found in the riverbank, now the story has changed, and it was found in a cave?
Given your typhoon weather patterns, and heavy, heavy rain, the cave must have been a bloody long way above the river.
If it was found along with some gold bars, Gary madison and I would be digging like crazy in the riverbed, hoping to find the stuff washed out of the cave!
How much do you need to mount a proper search? Gary can drive big machinary, and I can use divining rods. :smt002

Perhaps the river was flowing through the cave.

I would recommend following through with the folks who wish to buy it.
I don't think you will find any new potential buyers here. :D
