Gem Spectrum resources

Post by VargaStyle »

Can anyone recommend a good reference book for spectrum or an online source. I finally worked out my lighting issues but now it would be great to have a library of spectrums.

Can I presume you are using a handheld spectroscope like an OPL?

I like "Gemmology and the Spectroscope" by Basil Anderson. Well written, comprehensively illustrated and recently updated. Not cheap, but worth the money.
