It arrived...and it's missing parts. Specifically the transfer jig and the control knob. I can turn it on and off with a screwdriver, but the transfer jig is REALLY important for finishing stones.
Sorry to bring this back up, but I was wondering if you ever got your issues with Graves straightened out?
I've been finally thinking about pulling the trigger on ordering a machine straight from the company, but reading through this (not to mention all the other issues people have had in the past) has me hesitating big time.

Yes and no. I got the machine about 12 weeks after ordering it, but I'm STILL waiting for the Darkside lap from the lap package I bought, and we're at 22 weeks in. If you can go through a vendor, I suggest you do. The machine is great and well worth the price, but you will be waiting for it if you order directly from Graves.

I'm a bit late to this party, but I ordered my machine directly from the Graves company too and it took MONTHS to arrive as well. Mine also arrived without the control knob. I just got used to using a flat head screwdriver to set it.
