Ive posted pics of the pendents many times, one of the complaints besides design was a yellowish tint in most of the pics, these 3 pics now show a white balance correction-shows the colors of the stones a little more in real time- 8)

Adding a 4th pic of a 'white balanced' stone that corrected very well in this mode, Australian opal, the colors seem a little more vibrant- 8)

Very nice in all respects, pictures, settings, and stones.

Did you make the settings yourself?

Can we see the back?

I have a few opals and faceted stones I have cut, and I have done a little silver work in the past but I have not really done any setting work.

I hope to get back to Dallas (possibly in the next few months, and the local club there has a silver class, but it concentrates mostly on soldering, (I have the basics of that down)

And I know I am pressing it, but is the any chance you could get some pictures of your setting in progress?

But I do not want to steal the thread, they are very nice pieces, well done.

I design the settings, my jeweler, always same person, builds & sets the stones. This opal is Australian, over 14cts, & shows from all angles, a very nice stone, 20x17x10mm, - 8)

I found white base opals to show better on black background...especially in video's, and black body ones go better on white background.
