Post subject: Most Amazing quartz crystal overgrowth! Diamond Hill

I unwrapped a rock box from storage, a couple days ago, and found this Diamond Hill Mine quartz crystal cluster plate, that was from the dig I did a few years ago. It's got all kinds of funky overgrowth and other minerals on the quartz points. All these photos I took, are from this one specimen.

The coatings are most likely iron oxides/hydroxides (limonite, goethite, hematite..) or a thin layer of clay enriched with such.
I'm curious to know what the crystals growing over the quartz are, as I can't really tell from the pictures (as it looks slightly golden, maybe pyrite, arsenopyrite, chalcopyrite or marcasite), was it identified?
