One of those are the questions
I making a jewlery box from my daughter. she has a "few" pearls and silver jewelry
I have some of the silver impregnated cloth that i plan to line the drawers.
I'm not sure of the best way to fix it in place.
I can wrap some thin wood in it and use small pins to hold it in place
From leatherworking I have some "Barge" cement. I didn't know if it would react with the silver or pearls
Or use a different glue.
I know that some flocking is done by putting down a glue and blowing in the flock material. But not sure what glue they use and if it will react with silver or pearls

Aesthetically speaking, I would line the box with felt in her favorite color. That can be glued in place with Tacky Glue (available at craft stores). For the anti tarnish cloth, I would purchase or make some pouches that individual silver pieces could be placed in. That would help organize her pieces and discourage just throwing everything in the box all helter skelter.

Thanks thr the comments. Sorry it took so long to get back.
I ordered some of the silver ant tarnish cloth.
I am also testing sewing the felt around different size rope to see if I can make an organizer that she can put the free pearls into without them rolling around.
Hi Ted, good advice as usual from Barbra, small soft (felt or velvet is good) pouches for the pearls, that will stop them wearing so much. Pouches also sound good for the silver items. The problem element with silver is sulphur, which causes a serious discolouration of the surface, so check for it's presence in the glue you are thinking of using. Separate pouches for each item will provide an extra barrier. Good luck with the project and don't forget a photo when it is done!
