That is NOT how the value of a gem is determined. Perhaps it is synthetic corundum. Perhaps it is natural and glass filled. The possibilities go on and on.
Show it to a gemologist. Have them positively identify it. Have them describe the market in which such a stone would be bought or sold.
When you have the proper information, report back.

Hi Friends, Thanks for the answer. I am from Srilanka. Srilanka has excellent gems. That is the truth. But you may be surprised, There are no excellent gem identifications. Somtimes right ,sometimes wrong their decision.Reason----experienced senior Gem examiners leave the country for high salary in abroad. So new gem examiners in srilanka, with out much experiences. They can judge regular stones, But somewhat different stone come, then they meet with difficulties. I know personally, srilanka decisions about gem kinds, changed by foreign labs .

I got this gem for considerable prize, because of misunderstanding of the gem as a Garnet due to it gets little dark, but it has super fine red as traffic light red[signal light]. But little dark is there .So they misunderstood that this is as a garnet. But when it analyse carefully ,this is not a garnet. This is a rare fine ruby. I have to say rare because with the fine red ,little dark is there. But stone beauty is fine. These type of Ruby has higher value[source---internet]

This gem has little flaws inside. And it has fluorescence quality for normal light and also some other light. When the torch focus to the gem, for some light,it takes the color crimson orange and some other light it changes the color to purple. I tried several times to scratch the gem flat surface by --- a coin-----by a steel pin-----by my finger nails with hard pressure---But it is not possible to scratch it. And it has super fine stop light red. That is why it tends to be a fine rare ruby.

And, it is a key indicator of flame fusion synthetic ruby.
Do you think if you continue to post more and more ambiguous information that it will help with a valuation? It doesn't. I have listed 4 labs above. I am sure there are more. Use their services BEFORE reporting back.
