Post by Melicia »

Hi
Does anyone know where I can order parts for the GemOro Elite microscope? Specifically,I am looking for the upper light socket replacement assembly.
Thanks for any advice

A quick google search didn't turn up too much, but could it be the overhead light option listed here? https://www.gesswein.com/p-10394-gemoro ... ories.aspx

Could you post a picture of the part that needs replacing?

Yes, thank you.

its a picture of the overhead light, with the casing taken off. Looks like I would need the socket with cords attached

Did you try to contact the manufacturer?

Very nice people, I spent some fun time with them at the JCK show this weekend. Call them later in the week when they get back from the show.

Ah, so the socket? I'm guessing it's a standard off the shelf part, it looks a lot like this one: https://www.1000bulbs.com/product/5829/ ... loEALw_wcB
Not that I'm saying that's it or that would work, but yeah.

Yes, it's a standard, off the shelf part, I bought 6 to make a new light fitting for my photographic enlarger. Should be easy (and cheap) enough to find.
