How do you dye agates? Where can I purchase the materials for dying? Can Opals be dyed?

can anyone tell me how to dye agates i have moss agate. which solution, how much time.

i want to learn dyeing agates, chlcedony, and opal.

yes
I have clicked but there only chemical name is mentioned not the procedure ( time ).

i have moss agate and i want to dye it with blue and red colour
and i want to dye white natural opal to pink and sky blue

can you tell me the procedure how to dye both of them with procedure that is name, time etc

Hello,

Thanks for the help.

i am trying and experimenting with different ways.

I have attached few photos of gemstone and i am trying to develop this .

i have chalcedony raw material as well as moss agate which both contain some water and green colour algae .

please could you help me in this( small help will also good for me ).... how to make this gemstone

I would guess that the moss agate you picture has not been treated, but came out of the ground looking like that.

Even i am not sure ....but 90% i think its moss agate which is treated and i am trying this only .....could you sugest me which procedure should i use to make.something like this .

As you can se i have attached a picture which i found on your website and there are 2 stones on the right side which looks like this stone only which i have .

So if you could suggest me any procedure to make this one .
