It is now officially Feb of 2016 and I am headed home

In December late of 2015 I went o Alaska for 6 weeks for an operation on my daughter.

Next week I am driving her and her dog down to Texas in a RV........

so......

I guess the 6 weeks are up so that makes it Feb 2016.

IT has been a long 6 weeks........

Yep, drive safe, stop often and enjoy every second on the road.

One advantage of the RV is I can stop if I get tired, or just want to stop at a nice spot.

Untgil yesterday there was no timeline on getting back. The movers were going to take 6-8 weeks to get the house down there/.

but some @#$% (not really it is a :-)

person wanted an express shipment, and they are adding ours to theirs. So the shipment may beat us down to Texas.

My daughter bought the house across the street from my house down there. My wife is there and can direct the unloading.

I think that my daughter may want to get down there a little faster, but no big hurry.

Stopping at the Montana sapphire location might take you a half to full day (or more...), and the Spencer, Idaho opal spot would be how ever long you want it to be, from an extended lunch stop to a few hours depending on your schedule, the temperature, and your interest.
