Hi all,

I'd like to ask your opinion about these dark blue sapphires from Cambodia and what you would do with it. Is there any heat treatment that might lighten them up a bit? The stones show a strong pleochroismus effect.

Yes, they can be low temperature heat treated in an oxidizing environment to lighten the color.
