G&G Micro-world article
There is a small micro-world article on one of my personal stones that I found interesting. Being my first item published in G&G, I am more excited than is really warranted

I would have guessed the inclusions in the sunstone were likewise hematite.

They were for the most part. Typical copper-colored disc-like platelets of Hematite.dchallener wrote:I would have guessed the inclusions in the sunstone were likewise hematite.
"This “double” gem specimen displays a mixture of an attractive bluish violet dichroic color with red hematite platelet inclusions in the iolite half, combined with an orange aventurescence effect from numerous tiny copper-colored hematite platelets in the sunstone half."

Yes, a very nice article - and a nice stone! I mis-read copper colored as colored by copper. I need to read more closely.
