Barbra, thank you so, soooooooooooo much! GO has been my 'go to' over the years as my haven during good times and bad, whether I've been vocal or not. It really is like a second home with an open front door..many new and returning visitors to get to know who share the same passion(and their eyes don't glaze over when you start talking rocks). Mind you, I feel like I'm starting over again but it was a great journey the first time so looking forward to a repeat with everyone. Here's to the next 12!!!

With the restrictions everyone's been faced with, I've missed physically being with my kids for their birthdays this year, so I've had the best, longest birthday ever. As the restrictions have been winding back, the eldest managed to come up a couple of weekends ago...no hugs at that point which was so hard, the 'baby' arrived the day before my official b'day with his GF and we had the longest hug and chat ever, and tomorrow, the middle one is coming up to stay for a few days..yayyyy, more hugs coming! So this birthday, the celebrations will have been going on for a few weeks..lucky me!

Crikey..I've been in recovery mode the past 24 hours. I'd swear I've aged 10 years in the last few days after I went on a hike with DD2..OWWWW the muscles! It was great to finally catch up with all 3 of them these past weeks. I've been desperate for some ma hugs!

STEVE!!!! How are you!?!? I blow in from time to time on ALF as well.

I've been into making some yarny gems....


Have finally worked out where I'm heading with the yarn stuff. Have backed off on the editing and testing of patterns for designers and looking to put some form of platform up to show my works and hopefully, fingers crossed, a place for rocks when I get back into those as well.

It's been a great week and even better, DD1 is coming up again this weekend so hopefully I can finally get a hug from her.
2 kids are front line but the eldest, especially so, so she is super super careful and even though Tassie hasn't had an active/reported case for over 50 days..she still won't risk it. Maybe those in the know know something else which we don't. Our borders are still closed to the rest of Aus, which is probably just as well because Victoria is going through another outbreak. Looks like it might be another 6 months before I can get over there to see my mother.
