In case any of you are members over at the US Faceting Guild Forum (I'm not - just a lurker) and can pass this on, someone asked about a #30 MDR polishing lap.

According to MDR's "the Book of Gem Cuts (vol. 2), the #30 is type metal, usually composed of tin, lead, and antimony.
