First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for welcoming me into this forum. It's been an incredible experience reading the insightful articles and gaining knowledge from this community.
My name is Nirav, an exploration geologist based in Canada. Over the years, I've had the privilege of working in various parts of Africa, predominantly in gold and copper exploration. During this journey, I had the unique opportunity to work in the Kafubu area for emeralds for a few months. This experience ignited my fascination with gemstones, leading me to explore the world of sapphires.
I find myself in possession of a few sapphires from Africa. These gems have piqued my interest, and I'm eager to enhance their color to see the results I've come across Gem Mountain in Montana, However, I believe in the power of knowledge and exploration, which is why I am keen to learn more about other facilities that provide sapphire heat treatment services in the US. any update would be highly appreciated. Thank you

You found the correct place in the states to get your sapphires heat treated. I have looked, and actually it is hard to find anyone else.

It would not be impossible for you to set up your own heating station.
There are several articles online.
New, high tech equipment makes it easier and more pradictable, but even with statn of the art equipment perfection is acheived through trial end error

I am also a geologist/Gemmologist . I have been working with various gem deposits in Africa since the early 1970s. I have a great deal of experience with African Sapphires. The heat treating procedures are somewhat specific to each deposit area. If you can tell us where yours are from I may be able to give you insight on how to proceed and what to expect.

Thank you to all the members for your replies,
I apologize for not being able to respond sooner as I was in the field.
I have received this from one of my friends in Malawi he is not sure if it is from Malawi or Mozambique. Please see the attached photos. I'm currently working on enhancing the color and a few may be kept in a natural state.
I've noticed that in some of the stones, the transparency isn't great, and it looks like particles of clouds can be seen throughout. let's see how it comes up after heating.

The specimens seem heavily fractured.
Do you think they would survive heat treatment?
What color do you suspect their yellowish, greenish, brownish colors would alter to with heat?
