photomicrography

Post by LauraDZ »

Hello, I am new to photomicrography and gems and I just bought a Moticam to attach directly to my Motic microscope. Is anyone out there using this. Anyone who I can ask for help. I am finding this very hard to understand and Motic seem to only work with slides. Not gems.

Classes, or people that can help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also not adverse to changing the camera to a DSLR which most other people seem to be using.

Thank you
Laura

A moticam should work well, though image quality might be higher on a mirrorless/slr prosumer type camera. What issues is it giving you?
